Job description
Group Trucks Sales and Marketing APAC is responsible for marketing and sales in Asia and the Pacific region, with global responsibility for UD and the UD Trucks brand.
Position Description
Role:
To actively support Taiwan and Hong Kong in all commercial aftermarket (parts, service, competence development and aftermarket system) related matters and process, to provide world class aftermarket service to customers and end users.
Key Responsibility:
Aftermarket strategy, work plan and department budget development
Implement the VGT aftermarket strategy; communicate with other departments (DD, marketing, sales). Create and implement the commercial aftermarket department work plan and department budget. Support the regional headquarters to create and communicate the aftermarket strategy for HK and TW.
Support dealers and resellers to create, communicate and implement a yearly 3-year dealer business plan for sales of aftermarket hard and soft products through own dealerships and sub-dealerships to secure the VGT aftermarket sales targets for Volvo, UD and Renault.
The main task of the aftermarket department is to actively support the distributors and importer and drive the implementation of Aftermarket related standards, processes and systems.
Aftermarket sales volume and profitability
D evelop, package, price, promote and drive the aftermarket volume and profitability for the total aftermarket offer (parts, service, exchange, and other soft products) for the different brands and for the markets that are under the responsibility of VGT. The annual business plan is the foundation for the volume and profitability related targets.
Parts management
To be responsible for active product management of existing aftermarket products as well as driving implementation of new such products. Active price management and approval of special prices and discount of spare parts and approved parts pricing policy. Creation, communication and implementation of local aftermarket product incentive schemes. Constant business follow up regarding the parts sales and profit target and initiate corrective actions if needed; supervise the LPA concept and update of dealer parts inventory management policy and approve, ensure low parts inventory and highly parts fill rate; participate quarterly meeting of VP to solve parts supply problem, and update relevant policy; approve the installation plan of parts related systems.
Department management
Responsible for performance of the VGT commercial aftermarket team, employee training and development in the department ensure excellent performance and employee satisfaction; standardize and optimize department business processes based on market demand, and follow up the established process.
Main competence requirements
Degree in automotive engineering or similar experience.
Over 5 years of professional experience within commercial automotive industry
Good communication skill in English, Cantonese and Mandarin both oral and writing
Good IT knowledge (Excel, Word, Power-Point),
Team player with positive working attitude
Over 3 years business to business sales experience
Over 3 years people leadership experience
Have good communication skill with other people
