Key Qualification
Substantial experience conducting complex investigations, especially: cyber crimes, internal investigations, leaks, phishing and network intrusions Substantial experience formulating, implementing and critically reviewing investigative plans Excellent writing, analytic and interpersonal skills Substantial experience conducting interviews Excellent understanding of information security standards and practices Excellent knowledge of network architecture, network protocols, information technology and information security systems and solutions Familiarity with access controls systems, identity management, role provisioning/de-provisioning, and role lifecycle management Familiarity with information security assessments Eight or more years of investigative experience focused on information security

Experience performing digital forensicsResponsibilities include: Conducting investigations, which includes analyzing data and interviewing people Writing investigation reports to executives with key findings and recommendations for improved security Assisting the Global Security Information Protection team to improve information security at third-party facilities

Education

B.A./B.S. or higher degree Multi-lingual, English and other Asia Pacific languages. Mandarin/English is ideal Supply chain experience, specifically with factory operations and technology systems CPP, PSP, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC or equivalent certification

The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating data breaches related to Apple’s manufacturing and production information technology systems, as well as other matters such as frauds, thefts, and leaks. The candidate will work closely with Global Security’s Information Protection team to improve those systems’ security. The position will reside in China (Shanghai/Shenzhen) and may require frequent travel within Asia and to the United States. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Investigations in Cupertino.
