Senior SW Engineer - Framework - Intel Corporation - Shanghai

Job Description:
Mobile and Communications Group (MCG) DRD Shanghai team defines, develops and validates software products and solution stacks for smartphone and tablet based on Intel's cutting edge low power technologies. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced senior software engineer to join our engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the larger team around the world working to create a new type of Intel-based device in the marketplace.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Design, develop, optimize for innovative algorithm and software stack for context awareness user experience, middleware, framework and SDK for Intel Android phone and tablet platforms. Execute the technical readiness shift left software development for next generation Intel platform.
You should possess a Master or PhD degree on Computer Science or Electronic Engineering with at least 2 years working experiences in mobile industry.

The qualifications include:
1.Rich experience in common Android platform HAL, service, framework and SDK design and development;
2.Experience and solid background in common algorithm and software stack design and optimization for mobile platform. Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following area will be a plus:
(a)Voice trigger, speaker verification/identification, ASR, TTS;
(b)Audio signal processing, classification;
(c)Low power DSP or sensor hub firmware development;
(d)Inertial sensor data post-processing and fusion algorithm development such as activity, gesture etc.;
(e)Indoor/outdoor location, fused location and geo-fencing algorithm;
(f)Augmented reality, computer vision;
(g)Android HAL development experience on sensor, audio and camera;
3.Excellent understanding of the embedded system architecture. Skillful in Linux system level programming, includes multi-process and multi-thread concepts, know well about IPC mechanisms;
4.Excellent hands-on skill on software C/C++ and JAVA programming;
5.Good problem solving skills, quick learner, self-motivated to work independently;
6.Good communication, in both oral and written English;
7.Excellent team work.
