Job description
- Define and execute Qualcomms China brand and digital marketing strategy
- Manage brand communication via various channels such as OOH, web, paid media, social, emails, search engines, webinars, videos, mobile, and internal messaging
- Manage brand and digital agencies with the support from global teams, and identify key partnership opportunities with key media
- Work with cross-functional teams, global marketing teams, and agencies to lead brand and digital initiatives.
- Co-owner of branding campaign together with global counterpart, and be accountable for branding campaign outcome.
- Continue to optimize media performance and provide valuable suggestion for media and other platform selection.
- Make recommendations on marketing strategy and initiatives, based on data and insights
- Responsible for staying current on digital/MCM innovation trends in China by actively engaging with external experts and key stakeholders involved in the field, and use that knowledge in on-going assessment and improvement of our digital/MCM strategies.
- Creation of regularly scheduled and ad hoc reports and analysis.
- Drive negotiation with external partners driving effective market investment.
Responsibilities
- 8+ years experience in brand and digital marketing related positions
- In-depth knowledge of brand strategy, brand management, digital strategy, communication strategy, as well as the planning and execution
- Good understanding of marketing in technology sector
- Strong track record of managing large-scale media budget
- Proven capability of managing media agencies, digital channels and engines simultaneously, on both corporate and product level
- Proven relationship with media partners
- Strong ownership, bias for action, and discipline in establishing and improving processes
- Innovator in brand communication and digital marketing
- Data analysis, problem solving and program management skills
- Excellent presentation and written communications skills in both Chinese and English, as well as the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional concepts to internal and external organizations
- People management skills
- Enthusiastic in technology
