Job description
Position will be responsible for regional market analysis & forecast development of Commercial & General Aviaiton markets as well as occaisional APAC region Military markets. Particular emphasis on China, and other HGR target Countries in the APAC region.
Role involves independent research, data collection, modeling, preparation of various types of forecasts & projections, presentaion of results to management & local leadership. Work may be independent , in conjuction with local Marketing team, or with extended Global Market analysis team. Focus will be on development of Aircraft and aircraft service markets, evolution of New OEMS, regulatory climate, value propositions of new AC inside region as well as in the Global marketplace. Direct sutomer contact will also be a significant portion of expected deliverables - this will include relationship building, forecast & analysis sharing activities, including joint research at times, VOC & survey development & deployment etc.
Desired Skills and Experience
The successful candidates should have 3-5 years experience in the Aerospace industry, preferably in the commercial side of the Business.
A bachelors degree in economics, finance, marketing engineering or eqivalent is required . Higher level educational levels will be given preference.
Familiarity with Business forecasting, statistical inference techniques and industry information resources, as well as research methods will be a strong discriminator .
Knowledge of Commercial and Business Aircraft industry dynamics and aircraft attributes will be a definite advantage.
The candidate will need to be able to work independently as well as perform effectively in team environments & must demonstrate strong written & oral communication skills.
Fluency in Mandarin & English is required.
