If your answer is yes, please join us! As the head of Vendor Manager Jewellery & Watches, you will be part of the Softlines Team of Amazon.cn, one of the leading online shopping platforms based in Beijing.
We are looking for a result-orientated leader with strong analytical skills, extensive buying and negotiation experience and a passion for growth.

Key Accountabilities:
Manage existing supplier relationships, maximising sales, selection and profitability through strong relationships.
Seek out and build new supplier partnerships to support business growth; drive key supplier relationships to allow 3-5 year strategic planning.
Use experience to drive necessary change within the department introducing best practice and improving the way cross functional teams work together.
Use all tools available to enable strategic, automated, fast decision making.
Manage of key input metrics including assortment expansion, supplier terms and content delivery.
Build and develop a team of vendor managers.
Work with category team (Site Merchandising & Instock/Control Buying) to improve customer experience via Category Management practice and behavior.
Strong co-operation with other relevant departments in Softlines to ensure that all items secured from vendors are properly displayed to our customers and can achieve maximum sales.
Implementation & engagement of projects across the business.
Desired Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications
Proven team leader
Degree educated
Strong commercial negotiation experience at senior level
Buying, account management, product management or other commercial experience from a retail/consumer goods environment preferred
Broad commercial awareness developed in a fast-moving environment
Strong retail or product background with proven ability to drive change
Ability to absorb and use data to drive fast accurate decisions for the customer
Excellent communication and proven analytical skills
Proven ability to influence and make an impact internally and externally
Strong team-playing skills and experience of leading a team or delivering through others
Self-motivation and enthusiasm
An understanding of the difference between retail and “e- tail”
