Senior Product Family Planning Manager - Nokia - Beijing



Job Description

We are seeking a (Senior) Product Family Planning Manager in Nokia Mobile Phones FPD in Beijing. You will be responsible for product family planning in relation to S30 and S40 products roadmap.
You will work with some of the hottest mobile technologies & consumer trends on the market and join a highly motivated team to build competitive product family plans in optimized & realistic manner for S30 and S40 product roadmap.
Your key tasks and responsibilities will comprise:
  • Creating, communicating and maintaining frontend and backend of Product Family plan and risk overviews with input of Technology Management, HW, SW & Implementation planning
  • Initiating feasibility studies based on roadmap requests and own initiatives
  • Contributing to and influencing the MP FPD implementation planning process
  • Steering HW configuration implementation synergy planning in Products Beijing
  • Consolidating and maintaining HW Technology Roadmap together with relevant asset owners, focusing on 24-30 months ahead to now time horizon
  • Contributing to and influencing the direction, policy and strategy of HW and programs organization
  • Hosting FPD product content review

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate has strong experience in technology management and a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar as well as 10+ years of relevant experience in the HW or SW domain. We expect a recognized professional with the following attributes:

  • 5+ years proven track record in business and technical leadership in complex, global organizations and diverse business environment
  • Experience in and understanding of mobile and internet consumer experiences, technology and value chains
  • Experience in transforming a technology-focused business into a consumer-focused mindset

  • Proven ability to influence others and drive new ideas forward in a large organization
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Natural openness to new ideas
  • Strong analytical ability to master cutting through to the heart of a situation and ensuring the right results in time
  • Independent way of working and believe that an open, honest dialogue ensures the best results
