The position of Sales and Marketing Director is responsible for leading the selling & marketing activities for Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services (BSH), a commercial aircraft Maintenance, Modification, Repair, and Overhaul (MMRO) services center. This position will be a local hire and reside in Shanghai, China. Position will report directly to Boeing Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Sales leadership based in Seattle and Boeing Shanghai (BSH) leadership based in Shanghai. The objective of this position is to profitably grow BSH business with focus on leading the Sales & Marketing efforts to grow business.
Strong leadership and creative selling skills will be required to develop winning strategies and synergies to advance business opportunities and facilitate coordination between internal and external stakeholders. This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the location where the position is located. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. Desired personal attributes include: • Ten or more years of demonstrated sales experience in the aviation services industry. • Strong knowledge of airline maintenance and MRO procedures, policies and practices. • Holds a Technical and/or Business degree. • Ability to forge working together relationships and deliver results. • Highly motivated and organized team leader who has good people skills. • Customer focused and able to advance business with multiple cultures. • Strong verbal and written English skills. Ability to speak Chinese or Russian would be helpful but not mandatory. Sales Responsibilities: Establish and achieve business plan. Lead, direct and manage sales campaigns. Provide timely and accurate sales and customer engagement reporting. Cultivate and motivate internal and external team members. Lead a team of ~6 people. Develop sales strategies and winning value propositions. Leverage the organization and stakeholders to offer competitive products and services.
