Job description
Director of Industrial Engineering will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, productions and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control for Jabil globally. The Director of Industrial Engineering will drive the following goals: profitability, effectiveness, adaptability, responsiveness, quality, and the continuous improvement of products and services throughout their life cycles.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Establish and clearly communicate all Industrial Engineering strategies for Jabil globally regions and individual sites.
Ensure the standardization of Jabil processes throughout Jabil in accordance with the Executive Management direction.
Ensure the standardization of data within the Jabil systems.
Define the IE training, mentoring, and education needed throughout the department and all global sites.
Support the Lean organization by developing a solid process foundation and data integrity in order to support process improvement through the organization.
Report and drive improvement throughout Jabil through the monitoring of the key Industrial Engineering metrics.
Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering succession plan.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering required.
MS in Industrial Engineering or MBA will be an advantage.
Lean Platinum Certificate or Six Sigma Black Belt will be an advantage.
At least 10 years of working experience in the Industrial Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 4 years of managerial experience.
Or a combination of education, experience and training.
