Director - Manufacturing Industry - Autodesk - Shanghai


Job description
Purpose:

Plans and conducts sales activities to achieve assigned quota for vertical products and services in China focus on Manufacturing Industry. Generates new business by developing leads and/or expanding existing accounts.

Responsibilities:

Direct the activities of sales team, including hiring, coaching, developing, and performance reviews. Manage significant region revenue and expense budgets.



Responsible for achieving or exceeding assigned revenue quotas. Forecast sales and assigns quota responsibilities to sales managers.

Oversees execution of strategic sales and marketing programs, including product launches, channel development events, and customer seminars.

Provides market analysis and feedback to corporate marketing and sales staff concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements and business opportunities.

Gives guidance to product roadmaps. Participates in determining pricing strategy.

May represent Autodesk at customer, reseller and/or industry events.

Develop long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals.

Undertake any ad-hoc activities within the scope of the position as requested by management.

Requirements:

15 years solid sales experience in IT Industry with min 8 years in management role.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, assess, develop personnel and increase contribution.

Extensive experience in manufacturing industry preferred

Experienced in key account management, customer satisfaction, commercial and contract negotiations.

Excellent communicator, able to articulate and deliver messages effectively in English, as well as, Chinese.

Adaptable to change. Team player with strong motivation and determination to succeed.
