DUTIES
Develops annual communications plan with specific goals and budget as outlined in the hotel’s strategic marketing plan and the group’s communication plan. Prepares roadmap to achieve goals, as well as updates and adjusts plans according to market situation and ensures the communications team is fully briefed on goals and progress.
Works closely with F&B department to map out promotional activities for the year.
Advises GM and hotel senior management on communications to ensure that messages are clear, consistent and aligned with hotel’s business strategy and Shangri-La’s overall messaging.
Builds and maintains relationships with key local decision makers and the local social community to promote positive exposure of the hotel.
REQUIREMENTS
Presentable and well groomed. Outgoing personality with cheerful disposition.
Similar capacity in existing hotel or Communications Manager with min 3 years experience in an international hotel.
Good contacts with local, domestics and international media. Requires minimum supervision. Initiative and meticulous. Tactful approach.
Good communication skills and ability to interact well with the media.
