THE POSITION
As an Associate Director in BASES, you will be responsible of developing and managing Nielsen BASES’ business and client relationships by designing, selling, executing, and presenting market research studies to meet clients’ research objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepares client proposals and study designs and estimates costs of projects
Reviews forecasts prepared by junior staff
Reviews the analytical plan and final estimates on sales forecasts
Consults with clients regarding research designs and general study concerns
Approves final client deliverables
Leads client meetings
Pursues new business from existing and potential clients
Meets individual revenue and contribution goals
Manages project workload and delegates work
Trains direct reports on the process flow from study initiation to completion
Supervises direct reports by answering questions, providing constructive and consistent feedback, and conducting performance appraisals in a timely manner

Knowledge
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of statistics, research techniques, and experimental procedures
Knowledge of marketing research
Knowledge of in-market data

Education and Experience
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing research or a related field

8+ years of experience in marketing research or a related field
Experience with Nielsen BASES’ services and forecasting models
Supervisory experience
