The Online Partnerships Group (OPG) grows Google's business through partnerships with online publishers who use our platforms including AdSense and an arsenal of DoubleClick tools. Our team works with partners in online advertising and e-commerce. We thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented and international environments. The team's primary responsibilities include building and maintaining long-term relationships with large, medium and small publishers. As a member of this team, you will provide innovative, industry-leading online advertising solutions for publishers and developers. The OPG team proactively identifies, develops, supports new and existing partners.
For our gaming business development manager role in APAC we are looking for a special talent that can work autonomously to rapidly grow our footprint in this market. The ideal candidate will be in tune with developments specific to gaming, will have a passion for the industry and a strong network already established. Unique to this team, is that we are looking for genuine gamers!

Responsibilities
Master a strong knowledge of OPG’s specific product suite (DFP, AdSense, Ad Exchange & AdMob) and Google’s wider solutions range.
Become an ambassador internally and externally for the gaming industry in your market. Establish deep relationships with the game developer community and further OPG’s understanding of the industry.
Secure new online publishers by uncovering their business needs and presenting them with our online monetization solutions.
Scoping out new opportunities within the Gaming vertical that Google can address and highlighting these opportunities to senior stakeholders. Develop pitch strategies tailored for the needs of app, online and console game developers.
Provide the ultimate in client service by giving potential new strategic partners the attention they need and deserve.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working within the gamings industry (eSports, eGaming, MMO’s, iOS/Android Apps).
Must speak and write in Mandarin and English fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree
Game development experience with iOS/Android/Windows and/or familiarity with Unity3D/ C++/.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the key trends in gaming.
Detail oriented with the ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity.
Self-directed, motivated, and driven performer with exceptional multi-tasking abilities.
