Job description
Hospira is seeking an outstanding individual for the position of Manager, Ethics & Compliance to help lead the organization through the next stage of its ‘Turbo-charged’ growth development. This position reports to the Director, Global Ethics & Compliance, which is based in Lake Forest, IL, U.S.A.

Hospira is a small but growing organization in Asia and demands both a strategic and a hands-on approach. It requires an OEC leader with significant, proven experience working in a matrix environment.

The successful candidate will possess highly developed communication abilities and must maintain personal credibility, professionalism and integrity. When presenting either to senior leaders, peers or junior team members, the candidate is able to articulate views succinctly and convincingly and adapts their style so as to have the greatest impact on a given audience.
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Demonstrable experience in ethics and compliance, together with 7+ years of relevant experience and knowledge of the Health Care industry preferred
Knowledge of ethics and compliance program requirements required
A solid understanding of business, cultural and ethical environments of China in order to effectively collaborate with key business partners
A solid understanding of local laws and legal procedures relevant to the compliance matters
Experience working in a multinational corporation and in a matrix structure
Bachelor degree required
Fluent English (written and oral) required

Responsibilities
Coordinate priorities with Global OEC and the regional leadership
Support local translation and delivery of global training on all company Codes (Business Conduct, Supplier, Distributor)
Support local translation and delivery of training related to procedures for interactions with healthcare professionals (PICs) and other anti-bribery and anti-fraud policies
Serve as point of contact for Code and PICs related questions
Support PICs compliance monitoring and audits, including audits of relevant third parties
Proactively identify new areas of focus related to ethics and compliance
Participate in industry association meetings
