The LEGO group have a need to reassess the strategic direction in China BU and will be instigating a PMO group to co-exist with the China BU LT. As part of this there is a need to include Shopper as a key functional area to develop in the organization of You will be based in the Shanghai hub, but a member of both The SCE BU (within SMCD) and the China PMO, reporting into the head of the SOE, This position could be an excellent platform for developing your career in LEGO as you will be interacting with a lot of stakeholders across the organization in both sales, marketing, agency and insights functions as well as interacting with both local markets and other HQ functions.


Take on the challenge as a pioneer for Shopper Centre of Excellence in China •Lead Development of the evolving Shopper Mandate in the China BU
Act as key shaper/contributor to Strategic Shopper Agenda for the China BU and representative of global best practice to build the BU of the future.
•Shape the Building of shopper capabilities and expertise
Drive the plan to develop Shopper capability and expertise within the BU and co-sreate development of formal training programs alongside the SM in the Market facing role.
•Set the bar on shopper best practice
Leading the PMO team to drive for Shopper excellence vs global gold standard.
•Inspire and drive a future focus
Provide inspiration to ensure the China BU will be ready and equipped for the future Shopper needs.
•Influence Key Senior Stakeholders
Leverage influence to drive a culture of 2 way sharing and adopting of best practices (Global Shopper, Instore and informal networks).
•Be the China BU ambassador for the Shopper 2020 Strategic direction and ensure it is fully utilized and integrated into the China BU
•Ensure shopper agenda is included in all relevant business processes (i.e. Go to Market Strategy, Customer Business Plans, Global Instore Campaigns) Do you have what we want? •5-8 years in a consumer goods company as full time employee – preferably working across markets
•Experienced from Trade/Customer Marketing function and from at least one of the following areas (KAM role, Marketing Role, Research/Insights role)
•Experienced with shopper and category data (scanner/ panel data, research data etc)
•Experienced in connecting different data/information and transforming these into relevant insights.
•Experienced in larger organizations and working in regional/headquarter functions
•Strong presentation skills
•Experienced in building capabilities within organizations
•Experienced in creating retail solutions and implementing in retail
•Experience with omni-channel marketing

•worked deeply with insights e.g. shopper segmentations, shopper profiles, shopper data etc
•brought insights to action e.g. implemented campaigns in retail for brands based on shopper and category understanding
•been working with and through others in a global HQ function enabled local markets to win
