Principle Accountabilities

• Drive Quality improvement in entire manufacturing pipeline to achieve zero defects in product quality and zero defects escape to the end customers.

• Work with plant Quality Managers and Engineering to develop and evolve effective process control systems to detect process non-conformance and also defects at its source.


• Monitor and drive yield improvement across all plants working closely with the respective plant leadership and functional departments.

• Share best practices across plants on process audit findings, success stories on process improvement and process control.

• Drive and deploy effective problem solving methodology such as 8D, design of experiment, 5-Why, DMAIC approach to determine problem root cause.

• Review and deploy best practice process control methodology across plants. Work with respective plant Quality managers to deploy best practice in their respective plant.


• Work with respective plant QA to monitor on capability and consistency of processes through PCQR2.

• Develop and enhance process monitoring system to enable real time feedback on process condition.

• Understand process variability and work with plant QA and PE to implement control measures to minimize the variability through statistical tools.

• Understand product failure and lead plant Quality together with other functional team to address defect root cause.

• Reviews technical publications, articles and abstract to stay abreast of technical developments in industry.

• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
