Job description
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides direction, development and inspiration to team members.
• Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
• Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
• Manages field sales team members in the sale of the organization’s products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a national geographic basis.
• Manages all direct field sales account managers, may manage indirect and overlay field services account managers.
• Responsible for quota setting at the team/individual level.
• Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.
• Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with account
Qualifications – External
At least 8 years working experience with more than 5 years sales experience in IT industry
Strong knowledge of industry products and sales tactics.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Identifies appropriate products and services to meet the full range of customer needs
Identifies cost effective and practical alternatives for the customer by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize Dell’s opportunity while meeting customer’s needs
Prefer a Bachelor's degree of equivalent with a minimum of 8 - 10 years of related experience.
· Proven sales record and result oriented
IT company and /or ERP/software company sales experiences are preferred
