Job Summary:
We’re looking for a seasoned, ambitious and forward-thinking director of digital brand strategy for our team. You must be excited by big ideas and driven to uncover the insights that inform your brilliant strategies. You must be well versed across all media platforms but especially in digital, as well as a student of human behavior. We are looking for an effective leader and a collaborative team player whether the audience is creative, media or C-level clients.

Job Title:
Director of Brand Strategy
Key Responsibilities:
Help uncover consumer insights that lead to big brand ideas and help implement them across media and technology platforms (including internet, offline, mobile, video, emerging and future technologies)
Ingeniously integrate customer insight data (obtained by primary and secondary research) and client objectives into ground-breaking brand strategy and creative execution
Collaborate with clients internal partners to generate ideas and strategies that utilize innovative, emerging media/technologies
Participate in new business pitches, develop new business, and identify organic growth opportunities
Inspire innovation and great work; oversee campaign and project implementation
Create measurable value and ROI for the client; ensure a high-level of client satisfaction
Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert to Sapient’s clients, as spokesperson and industry thought leader to the media (present at conferences, publish white papers, and contribute to online forums and blogs, etc.)
Helps implement the brand planning practice within the company
Some travel may be required
Job Requirements:
12 years of account planning experience in an agency, advertising, or marketing organization; 5 years of leadership experience; 5 years of experience with digital campaigns
Thorough understanding leading advertising, brand comms accounts
Must be excited by big ideas and by brilliant tactics and a student of human behavior
Expertise with both digital and traditional marketing, above and below “the line”
Extensive experience with developing digital and social media strategies either as part of a bigger program or as stand alone initiatives
Expertise in identifying and forecasting emerging trends in the industry
A self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit with vision and leadership to enact change within the agency and the industry
Ability to convert and implement strategic plans into tactical ones
Proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with (C-Level) clients, colleagues and vendors
Strong track record of building business with existing clients while generating new business
Ability to integrate diverse viewpoints and opinions
Exceptional oral and written communication skills; captivating presenter and great listener
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent military experience
MBA or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or other relevant graduate degree is preferred
