Director - Business Development and Marketing - Alibaba - Hangzhou
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Creating, tailoring, and pitching Tmall Global business development marketing collateral .Serve as a key member of the International Tmall business team, helping to attract international brand from overseas strategy and business growth.
- Assist with store establishment for key accounts on the Tmall platform and Promote marketing place for Aliexpress, helping to build go-to-market strategy for global business growth.
- Establish and build strong, profitable, long-term relationships with strategic partners who may be key affiliate networks and publishers as well as other strategic channels. Contribute to the overall growth and profit of Alibaba international business by expanding our partner ecosystem.
- Conducting country and market research for supporting international business strategy
- Identify, rationalize, and define target market segments and channel strategy for Alibaba international emerging Advertising business. For each segment and channel, define the business model, product offering, engagement process, and support/operations model to drive publisher adoption and business revenue growth.
- Identify specific prospects/partners to approach while communicating the specific value proposition for their business and use case. Build and execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial programs.
- Build strategic partnerships for Alibaba international Ad business.
- Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks to increasing adoption customers.
Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
• Above 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or partner management within the media, advertising, or ecommerce sectors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in English
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Adept at making data-driven decisions .
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment.
• Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones in multiple languages.
• Bachelor degree in business, marketing, computer science or relevant field of study.
Experience in leading small size multinational team
Experience in category planning and management is preferred
