Sr. Product Manager - Advertising Service - Amazon - Beijing


Job description
Amazon is looking for a talented Product Manager capable of managing the products of ads service in China. This role will be interfacing with local business, development, retail and corporate support teams. In this role you will ensure our programs meet the needs of Chinese advertisers. The role is responsible for product definition, go to market strategy, product launches and ongoing business growth. The ideal person is flexible and able to work with development and business teams diving in to detailed requirements definition, defining new business and technology processes and manage day-to-day escalations in addition to setting strategy and goals. A strong business sense is required coupled with a track record of excellence in product and project management.

This position requires collaborating with a global team, and successfully influencing change and improvements across a large organization. The ideal candidate will be able to think strategically about a fast-growing business while simultaneously using their analytical ability and intelligence to dive into the tactical details.

This position is based at the Amazon CN headquarters in Beijing, some travel to Seattle will be required.

Responsibilities
· Define and launch advertising products in China
· Work with development and business teams to launch and improve product offerings based on feedback from partners and advertisers.
· Work with sales and marketing teams to increase advertiser engagement.
· Influence and evangelize plans to improve program performance with counterparts in retail and merchant organizations.
· Partner with seller support and customer service organizations to improve the advertiser and customer experience.
· Work closely with global teams, Legal and Tax on advertiser facing agreements, policies and processes.
· Define key operating metrics and provide reporting and analysis of organizations productivity measures on a weekly and monthly basis.

· Ability to define a product and ongoing roadmap
· Outstanding analytics able to apply measurement and structure to all efforts.
· Partner effectively with multiple stakeholders.
· Develop original ideas, approaches, and solutions to identify opportunities and resolve complex problems.
· Track record of taking ownerships and driving results
· Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with product and development teams
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.


Desired Skills and Experience
Basic Qualifications
· Fluent in English · Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or relevant field of study · 7+ years in product or program management within the technology sector · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Flexibility to work across multiple time-zones
