Software Marketing Manager - China - Dell - Beijing
Job description
Delivers integrated marketing plans that meets Dell Software Group financial goals, align with vertical initiatives, and capitalize on market trends and opportunities within the segment/vertical. Responsible for assessing market trends, quantifying opportunities, and developing programs to meet the growing needs of the solution and segments. Supports sales training and channel enablement programs. Utilizes 3rd party customer data and direct customer interaction information to provide feedback to the product group and messaging team.
Owns the development and execution of the go-to-market plans to support specific Dell Software growth initiatives.
Develops content and programs that achieve sales demand through print and electronic collateral, sales training, customer research and customer briefings.
Serves as subject matter expert for specific vertical(s) on industry trends, customer buying behavior, pain points, competitors, and vertical market opportunities.
Facilitates the strategic planning process to enable events team counterparts to ensure timely and successful execution.
Drives vertical solution strategy, including opportunity analysis, marketing plan development and execution.
Utilizes standard campaign methodology and metrics to track marketing/sales efforts and drive program results throughout quarter/year.
Provides sales team with marketing roadmaps and training on key initiatives, industry trends and partner solutions.
Determines most effective segment/vertical sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity.
Ensures that sales and marketing teams understand and are able to fully utilize tools to enhance sales and marketing activities.
Supports channel event strategy.
Works with merchandising and online teams to make recommendations/decisions on dell.com content.
Experience:
3-5 years in software marketing.
Experience in working with Inside Sales teams to drive velocity programs.
Coverage: China/HK & TW
Travel: 30%
