Job description
Google's Publisher Business Solution (PBS) team plays a critical role in ensuring the continued growth of our company as well as that of our many partners; in fact, we drive a substantial portion of Google's revenue through strategic partnership with key players in the industry. We collaborate with a variety of internal business departments, prospecting and negotiating new partnership deals or managing, growing and enhancing our existing ones. Our mission is to help our partners to get the most out of the web by creatively and strategically leveraging Google's innovative search, applications, advertising and media platforms.
As Marketplace Development (mDev) Manager of PBS team, your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to target, educate and persuade new customers to embrace Google's latest advertising products and technologies. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, understand the details of individual campaigns and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of your key clients. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Responsibilities
Partner with Strategic Partnership Leads & Revenue Account Managers to source publisher inventory for private auctions and preferred deals.
Collaborate with the advertiser (LCS) and platforms sales teams to sell and fulfill direct programmatic solutions to end-clients, agencies, trading desks and demand-side platforms (DSPs) and source demand for our publishers.
Help manage smooth deal execution, working together with buy- and sell-side account managers and technical account managers.
Work with our analyst team to package and determine our inventory needs and advertiser demand for your customers.
Solicit feedback from publishers and sales teams to identify feature improvements to our product team.

Minimum Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of digital media/technology sales or buying experience in a major agency or publisher.
Speak and write English and Chinese fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred Qualifications

Superior performance or data-based brand marketing expertise.
Solid understanding of the programmatic media ecosystem and technology, including exchanges, networks, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and trading desks.
Great communication skills and ability to navigate within a large organization.
Entrepreneurial attitude - a flexible and fast-moving self-starter who thrives in a start-up team environment.
