We are part of the Interpublic Group (IPG) and support the operations of five Media and Communications agencies in Asia Pacific - FutureBrand, Jack Morton, GolinHarris, Octagon and Weber Shandwick. Due to our continued success we are now poised for our next stage of growth. To support in this transition we are seeking an experienced and driven talent specialist who will partner with our businesses to bring our HR function in China to new heights.
Based in Beijing, you will lead a growing team of three, Shanghai and Beijing based HR professionals with specialisation in recruitment and learning and development. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational HR including practices and policies, recruitment & resourcing, learning & development, career development & succession planning, performance management, employee relations & retention initiatives, compensation & benefits and HR technology.
Desired Skills & Experience
A true talent specialist, with 8+ years experience in a leadership role, you will be strategic, dynamic and hands-on. Ideally you will have experience in an agency or professional services environment, be a fully competent HR generalist with a proven ability to partner with senior leadership and have recent work experience with HR in China. Fluency in English and a high level of conversational skills in Mandarin are essential.
