Asia Pacific Finance Director - Commercial Vehicle Group - Shanghai

Overview:
Commercial Vehicle Group is seeking a Finance Director to be the business partner to the Regional Managing Director and to support local and corporate management in all regional financial matters including managing the regional finance team, overseeing the financial operations of facilities within the region, and ensuring the integrity of the internal control framework. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate broad international financial management experience and the ability to partner with key financial and operational stakeholders across the global business. This position is based in our Shanghai facility.

Responsibilities:
Serve as the business partner to regional leadership team in executing short and long term strategic plans.
Oversee the monthly close process for all facilities within the region
Prepare monthly and other periodic reports, including an analysis and explanation of financial variances.
Liaise with corporate, and regional controllers and facility leaders on all matters related to the financial control environment; ensure the integrity of the internal control framework
Serve as the primary regional contact for internal and external audits and financial and operating reviews.
Lead the annual regional business planninbgt and monthly forecasting process.
Address financial processes and process discipline across the region to insure uniformity in group and consolidated reporting.
Manage the finance function including recruiting, training and development of staff, establishing lines of control and delegating responsibilities.
Business partner to Regional Managing Director
May be required to serve in directorship role for subsidiary companies.

Desired Skills and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required. Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent regional certification,strongly preferred
At least ten years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis, including audits, taxes, and preparation of consolidated financial statements; managerial and manufacturing experience.
Working knowledge of international business transaction environment.
Prior experience with US multi nationals.
Demonstrated capability in accounting, finance, budgeting and cost control, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and International Accounting Standards.
Proficiency with Microsoft office products.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface verbally and in writing at all levels of a global organization.
Change agent capable of hands-on work and high-level strategic thinking
Ability to travel extensively within the Asia Pacific region
