Job description

Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Real Time Bidding (RTB) and Programmatic Advertising have become the foundation for the future of digital advertising. Now advertisers and publishers conduct business in real time through automated technology, helping with campaign effectiveness, scale and efficiency.
Google's Partner Business Solutions (PBS) is a global organization that works with publisher partners. We leverage the total Google digital suite in order to grow traffic, create the right content and formats and maximize the total business growth of their businesses. As a member of the PBS Marketplace Development team, you will report into the Director of Partner Business Solutions for Greater China. You will develop and drive growth for the programmatic business and will act as a critical point of contact for clients looking to connect to Chinese business initiatives.

Responsibilities
Provide insights on how to maximize yield opportunities based on buyer demand and inventory and audiences available to Google.
Create and package premium programmatic opportunities with all buyers, including Google buy-side teams (global agency and advertiser groups, verticals, local agency sales teams, buy-side platforms teams) to help them pitch our premium programmatic opportunities successfully, as well as platforms partners (trading desks, 3rd party networks, bidders, re-targeters).
Set up private exchanges/marketplaces, execute negotiations, optimize and troubleshoot to completion in conjunction with technical and account teams.
Analyze and track key metrics to identify trends for your publisher clients and highlight issues.
Provide a mature and effective point of knowledge for both the internal Google teams and external clients about programmatic/real time bidding.

Minimum qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese fluently and idiomatically


Preferred qualifications
5 years of experience in advanced account/partnership management or business development experience in media agency/media sales house.
2 years of experience in campaign management, including optimizing performance and brand measurements for leading advertisers.
Experience managing exchanges and/or demand side platform as a publisher or a buyer (agency, trading desk, advertiser).
Ability to handle ambiguity, work collaboratively with internal and partner contacts.
Strong analytical and reasoning skills with respect to technical, contractual and financial issues.
Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
